Reviews

From Learners Across the Programs

A selection of feedback from people at different stages of their learning — beginners through to those working on advanced portfolios.

SP

Siriporn Phumirat

Chiang Mai · Foundations Course

"I had never written any code before starting this. The first few modules felt manageable, which I wasn't expecting. By module four I was writing simple Python functions on my own and actually understanding why they worked. The community was also genuinely helpful — I got answers within a few hours when I got stuck."

Aroon Thammasat

Bangkok · Model Building Track

"The code review part made the biggest difference for me. I submitted my first classifier and got back a note that my feature selection was too broad and was causing overfitting — explained clearly with a suggestion to try again. That kind of specific feedback is hard to find in online courses. The pace could be a bit faster in the earlier modules, but that's a minor thing."

Nattaporn Kaewkla

Bangkok · Mentored Model Program

"The one-to-one sessions with Tanawat were worth the program price on their own. I had a deployment question that I'd been unable to find a clear answer to online — he spent 40 minutes working through it with me live. The workshops were also good, though the scheduling took a bit of coordination. I finished with a portfolio I'm genuinely comfortable showing."

Wanchai Rojana

Phuket · Foundations Course

"I work full-time and needed something I could fit in across evenings and weekends. The self-paced format meant I could take an extra week on the NumPy module without feeling behind. I finished the Foundations Course over about 10 weeks and I'm now working through the Model Building Track."

Pranee Chanthorn

Khon Kaen · Model Building Track

"The thing that surprised me was how much I actually understood by the end — not just how to run the code but what it was doing. The module on model evaluation was particularly clear. Having to resubmit after feedback felt a bit tedious at first, but looking back I can see why it matters."

Boonlert Suwannakul

Bangkok · Mentored Model Program

"The deployment module was what I specifically wanted and it delivered. Wrapping a model into a simple API wasn't something I thought I'd be able to do before this program. The documentation guidance also helped — I now have three projects in my portfolio that I can actually walk someone through clearly."

Learning Journeys in Detail

Three learner experiences from different starting points and program paths.

SP

Siriporn Phumirat — Foundations Course

10 weeks · Chiang Mai

Starting Point

Siriporn had no programming background and had tried two other beginner Python tutorials before, but both moved too fast and she stopped after the first few days.

What She Did

She worked through the Foundations Course over 10 weeks at around 5 hours per week, using the community forum frequently in the early modules and slowing down on the NumPy and AI concepts sections.

Where She Ended Up

She finished the course with a working final project — a Python script that processes and visualises a dataset — and has since enrolled in the Model Building Track.

AT

Aroon Thammasat — Model Building Track

14 weeks · Bangkok

Starting Point

Aroon had basic Python skills and had done some data work in Excel. He wanted to move into ML but found most resources assumed either no background or a maths degree.

What He Did

He worked through the Model Building Track over 14 weeks, submitting four projects for code review and revising each one based on feedback before moving forward.

Where He Ended Up

He completed the track with a portfolio of three documented ML projects covering classification, regression, and a basic ensemble method. He is now considering the Mentored Program.

NK

Nattaporn Kaewkla — Mentored Model Program

20 weeks · Bangkok

Starting Point

Nattaporn had completed the Model Building Track and wanted to go deeper into deployment. She also wanted mentoring because she found written feedback helpful but video sessions more efficient for complex questions.

What She Did

She worked through the Mentored Program over 20 weeks, attending bi-weekly mentor sessions and three group workshops, with a focus on building and exposing a Flask API around one of her models.

Where She Ended Up

She completed the program with five portfolio projects, including one with a working API endpoint. Her documentation was highlighted by her mentor as particularly clear and thorough.
